All golfers are reminded to shout fore in the event of a wayward drive. Green staff have priority at all times.
All golfers must wear appropriate footwear for the course conditions.
In the event of fog do not play unless you can see the distance of your intended shot.
Dress Code
Shipley Golf Club aims to operate a contemporary and forward thinking dress policy for the benefit of all members and guests.
It is in all our interests to maintain reasonable standards of casual but smart dress in keeping with golfing traditions.
Golfers and guests at Shipley Golf Club are therefore made aware that the following are required standards that must be adhered to both on the golf course and the clubhouse. Golfing attire is required for all players.
Any denim, tracksuits, t-shirts or trainers are not permitted on the course at any time. Shirts must be tucked into trousers or shorts. Shorts should be tailored. Tracksuits, rugby and football shirts, trainers and baseball caps are not allowed in the clubhouse at any time. Smart denim is permitted.
Golf shoes must be worn on the course. Golf shoes are not permitted in the bar, dining room or lounge.
A jacket and tie are not compulsory in the clubhouse unless members and guests are notified in advance.
