Open for Golf Policy
After the Government’s update we are happy to announce we can now open the golf course on Wednesday. You can read the statement from England Golf by following this link.
We are sure that you are all looking forward to getting back on the course, but to ensure the safety of our members and staff there will be strict policies in place.
For at least two weeks after opening tee times will be restricted to Members and social golf only. Tee times will have to be booked online with no exceptions, and play will only be allowed to commence from the 1st tee.
Times for Wednesday 13th onwards will open for booking at 12pm Today and you will be able to book up to one week in advance. Until further notice this will be in households or 2 balls. To avoid confusion, if you are not playing solely with members of your household then the maximum group size will be 2 people. Times will be available from 6.30am each morning.
Tuesdays between 8am and 12pm will be reserved for Silver Members
Saturdays between 6.30am and 1.30pm will be reserved for Gold Members
We do ask all members to be considerate of others when booking a time and initially we will be requesting that members book no more than 3 times a week to allow everyone the opportunity to play. If times are left vacant on the day of play you will be able to book additional tee times.
We also ask that those who are able to play midweek do so, leaving weekend times available for those who are still working and unable to play midweek.
Anyone who has not paid their membership fees (or set up a payment method/plan) will have their booking rights removed online.
At the Club/Course
Golfers should arrive no more than 15 minutes before their allotted tee time. The putting green will be available for use 10 minutes before your tee time and we ask that you are on the tee 5 minutes before your time.
Example: 10am tee time
Putting Green 9.50am
On the Tee: 9.55am
We will have strict one-way systems in place to access the clubhouse for anyone who requires access to their locker. The locker rooms will not be open for general use and shoes should be changed in the carpark. There will be access to the trolley/bag store for anyone who requires.
The Proshop will remain closed to customers, however if you require anything from the Proshop such as a rental trolley or refreshments please text/email/phone your order in so it can be prepared for you during opening hours, payment via BACS, PayPal or your account credit will be required.
Please remember when you are out on the course social distancing rules still apply and you should be 2m apart at all times. This is especially important when playing with people outside of your household, on the teeing area and on the green.
Once you have finished your round you should go straight to your car and leave the club. If you decide to finish after 10 holes please exit the course through the overflow carpark.

Club V1 Members Hub
Have you seen the new Members Hub on Club V1?
In here you will be able to download a handicap certificate, update your personal details, look at competition results and book into certain competitions, see club news and members details. You can even upload a profile picture if you would like to.
To get started just follow this link. If you already have an account through 'Howdidido' then you can simply log in to the passport using these details. It will then ask you to select your club and verify your identity. If you are not registered for 'Howdidido' you can choose to create a passport. In here just make sure that your email address is the same one you have received this email on and your name matches the one we have on record.
Once you're logged in you will see that we have set up a 'test competition' so that everyone can see how the bookings can work. We will also look at setting up future knockout competitions to be booked through this page.
If you have any problems getting signed up just reply to this email or call/text Natalie on 07712187940
